welcome newest team members!

We are very pleased to welcome the two newest members of the BOKHA team!

Jaty Tam, (ND candidate, March 2009) will be offering reception and administrative support to the clinic on Fridays between now and March. Jaty will be joining us March 1st as a full time Associate ND. We are very pleased to welcome her aboard. Jaty is currently booking new patients for March 1st and beyond.

Lina Alvarado, 4th year student at CCNM and clinical intern at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic, joins the team as our latest lead hand. Watch for Lina to provide reception support on Tuesday mornings and Wednesday afternoons.

It is with sadness that we bid adieu to Shayna Orfus, the friendly voice and face at our reception desk these past 6 months. We have so enjoyed having Shayna at the clinic, and wish her the best in her studies and future endeavours.

We will be exhibiting at the Healthy Kids Expo this weekend - at the Direct Energy Centre, Exhibition Grounds. We will be meeting with parents and kids to talk about how naturopathic medicine can be used to create healthy families. Also, come by for a live one-on-one demonstration on acupressure techniques to boost your child’s immune system, with acupuncturist Jessica Rea, or receive a free mini-massage from RMT Tammy Peterson. Jennifer Baer, Naturopathic Doctor & Clinic Director will be speaking on Sunday afternoon about the connections between your child’s digestive & immune systems, and naturopathic approaches to such common concerns as allergies, ear infections and eczema. We look forward to seeing you there!
